In Kenya, we have been working with our local partners to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities for local families through our Ali Asghar Water Appeal.
Your donations last year helped to build five latrine washrooms and ablution blocks at the Bondeni Muslim Nursery School in Nakuru, Kenya, This project is currently benefitting 500 people each day and 15,000 people each month.
The beneficiaries are living in abject poverty and prior to this intervention, had no access to clean and safe water and couldn’t afford to buy any. The nursery headteacher, committee, and students expressed their excitement and gratitude for the washrooms your donations helped to install.
